Metzorah: The Dinover: Inside & Out

“Behold! The Tzara’at affliction had been healed from the Metzorah.” There is the Negah – the physical affliction that is caused by the Tzara’at, the inner Spiritual affliction.  When the person does Teshuvah from his Tzara’at, his spiritual affliction, the Negah, the physical symptom will be healed. A person who does not take care of his body suffers from a Spiritual affliction. Teshuvah demands that he diagnose the spiritual illness that leads to the lack of care for his physical well-being, and not only that he resolve to start exercising. Without real Teshuvah, the resolution will not last.
