Tehillim Tools: Psalm 33:4: To Measure

“For upright is the word of God, and all His deeds are done with faithfulness (Psalms 33:4).” [From Shabbat Pesukei D’Zimrah] This verse is describing the way,God “measures”: meaning God measures His actions, the way he guides this world, “with faithfulness,” according to the level of faith at which people are living and functioning in the world.

When the faith in the world is complete, then God’s guidance will be directly by His Hand, without being “dressed” in nature. When the measure of faith in the world is lacking; God’s guidance will be constricted and dressed in nature (Sefat Emet, Shelach 5650)
