A few months before my Father, zichron tzadik le’vracha , passed away, it was clear that he was approaching the end of his life. There was a part of me that rejected the possibility. Even as I cringed, I had to understand how much of a reality it was becoming. When his final diagnosis was given, and it was clear that he would not survive a long time, I could no longer deny it.
