Parsha Mitzvot: Terumah: Mitzvah 96 – Concept 381
“On the Table shall you place show-bread before Me, always.” (Exodus 25:30) We are commanded to make the Show-Bread. (Rambam, Hilchot Timidim U’Mussafim – The Laws of The Constant and Additional Offerings)
We learn from this Mitzvah that one should attempt that all his eating should be “Panim” with his Penimiut – his deepest, innermost awareness of the sanctity of his food, and by so doing will achieve a state of “In front of Me, always.” Rabbi Mordechai of Ohlik – Gedulat Mordechai)
