Tehor Ra’ayonim: Beshalach

The 13th of Shevat is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Yom Tov Netel, author of Rehor Ra’ayonim. He died on January 30, 1817. “And Moshe took the bones of Joseph with him.” We can only merit miracles and salvation if we are joined as one. Moshe had to bring the bones of Joseph and his brothers as an indication of Israel being united in order to merit the miracles that would be necessary in the desert. This is why the curtains hook to the single ring (Exodus 26), the single ring, the united nation, is in the shape of the “Samech” that alludes to Someich Noflim, God lifts those who have fallen.

Samech = 60, the value of Yesod, Joseph, which combines all the ten levels of each of the Six Sefirot above Malchut so that they can connected in unified form to Malchut.
