The 29th of Adar is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Shlomo (Dov Tzvi Hakohen) Rabinowitz of Radomsk, first Rebbe of the Radomsk dynasty (1803-1866).“We seemed at Your deliverance, and in the Name of our Lord, raise our banners; May God fulfill all your wishes (Psalms 20:6).” [Recited before U’va l’Tzion] The Baal Shem Tov explained, “all your wishes,” should be only that, yimalei Hashem, God should be complete, and that His Name should be completely revealed right now. (Tiferet Shlomo, Nachamu)

Application:

Meditate on this verse when reciting Ashrei: “You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living being,” focusing on our only real desire, that God’s name be complete.
