Tehillim Tools-Helping Those Who Find Delight-Apter Rav

The 5th of Nisan is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Avraham Yehoshua Heshel of Apt, the Ohev Yisrael. “Make me tread in the path of Your commandments, for in them do I delight (Psalms 119:35).” God gives free will to people to choose their way of conduct; but when He sees that a man has chosen wisely, God assists him to continue in the right paths. King David implores, “Since I find delight in Your commandments, I petition You to guide me that I may steadily walk in the path of righteousness.” (Esser Orot, page 121)
