“They advance from strength to strength and appear before God in Zion (Psalms 84:8).” Those who expend their strength in Your service find that their strength has not diminished, but doubled (Rashi).

One of the most essential tools in using the month of Elul to prepare for Rosh Hashanah is to pray that we merit being able to fulfill each commandment in such a way that they strengthen us rather than make us weary.
