Tehillim Tools: 6:8: Rav Shlomo Kluger

The 30th of Sivan is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Shlomo (ben Yehuda Aharon) Kluger“My eye is dimmed from anger, it has aged it because of my tormentors (Psalms 6:8).” Sins are often described by the verse as anger (see Ecclesiastes 1:18). A person is punished because of the sins he has committed, and often the sins were committed because his Evil Inclination has used anger to assert its power over the person. It is his anger that has dimmed his vision and led him to sin (Tehillot Yisrael).
