Spiritual Tools-Slonim-Maintaining Awareness

The 28th of Adar is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Mordechai Kastelanitz of Lecovitz, the father of the Slonim Chassidic dynasty. If a single coin is left over in my house at bedtime, I cannot fall asleep, but if totally penniless, I sleep soundly, knowing that when the moment comes to awaken, I must immediately look to God for aid. (Ohr Yesharim, page 4.)

Use this reflection for dealing with financial stress. Go to sleep looking forward to waking up knowing that you must immediately look to God for help.
