Spiritual Tools: Marpeh LaEtzem: Faith in Torah Study

The 3rd of Iyar is the Yahrtzeit of Rabbi Isaac Farchi of Jerusalem, the author of Marpeh laEtzem. He died on May 11, 1853: One must approach Torah study with faith that the entire world is contained with in Torah, and that all of creation was based on its wisdom.

One must approach Torah study with a sense that in The Same Way, God teaches each of us, addresses each individual soul, so too, God is directly involved in every aspect of our lives.

One must approach Torah study with deep faith that this is the best way to involve God in our lives so that we are not limited by the physical world.

One must approach Torah study with this sense that it is only Torah which will empower us to pray in such a way that God will surely answer.
