Shir ha-Shirim XVI Part Seven: Sefirah 26

“Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand (Psalms 149:6).” “Two-edged,’ or, ‘mouths;” Rabbi Nechemiah said: Two Torahs were delivered at Sinai, one Oral and one, Written. (Shir Hashirim Rabbah 1.2:5, Part Seven)

The two Torahs are in fact, one; a Unity. Any difference is only from our perspective, which was a gift, allowing us to each discover his own voice in Torah. Our objective must be to toil in Torah until we fully comprehend that the words are part of a single tow-edged sword. Our objective is to figure out how everything is consistent and fits together as a Unity.

Blessings of Shemah: “vi-ha-er eineinu….Viyached livaveinu” Enlighten our eyes in Your Torah… and Unify our hearts.
