Shir ha-Shirim XVI Part Eleven: Sefirah 30

“Let Him kiss me – Yishakeini – with the kisses of His mouth.” Let Him make me attach, as you say, “The noise of the wings of the Chayot as they touched – Mashikot – one another (Ezekiel 3:13).” (Shir Hashirim Rabbah 1.2:5, Part Eleven)

The wings of these lofty Angels touch or “kiss” each other as they make noise in their praise of God. This is a description of our Torah study being compared to the music made by the vibrations of the loftiest Angels, and of our words being considered as beautiful as the song of the Angels as they praise God. This is the true song of Torah.
