Shabbat Prayer-Vayakhel-V’shamru-la’asot

The 18th of Adar is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Nachum Mordechai  Friedman (1946), Tchortkover Rebbe: “On six days, work may be done, but the seventh day shall be holy for you, a day of complete rest for God; whoever does work on it shall be put to death (Exodus 35:2).” If your work during the six days of action you will do only as it says in the earlier verse, “that God commanded,” and not for any reason other than to fulfill God’s will, you can trust that you will merit a Shabbat day of double, and further magnified holiness, so that your seventh day will truly be Shabbat Shabbaton!
