Rosh Hashana Prayers: Second Blessing After Shema: First Night

“Spread over us the shelter of Your peace.” The Mabit, (Beit Elokim, Teshuva) explains that Teshuva, our ability to return to God, restore the relationship, and repair our mistakes, is the ultimate Shelter of Peace: It allows us to live as human beings despite our weaknesses and failures, with a sense of peace that we can always fix what we break.

Kavanah:

I sing in gratitude that even today, the Day of Judgment, You provide us with the Shelter of Peace that allows us to repair our mistakes.

Please help me pray with a sense of Peace.
