Rosh Chodesh: Psalm 104
“May the glory of God endure forever.”(verse 31) We pray that God will help us live in such a manner that all we do brings constant honor to God’s Name. Rav Shlomo Kluger (Kehillat Shlomo) elaborates, that although we say that “A complete Tzaddik cannot stand in the same place as a Ba’al Teshuva, in truth, before the Ba’al Teshuva returned to God, he had sinned. God’s glory was lessened between the time of the sin and his Teshuva. We bring great glory to God’s name when we repair our mistakes and return to Him, however, we desire that there never be even a moment when our actions do not honor our Creator.
