Amidah-Radoshitz-The Da’at to Find My Place in Torah



The 22nd of Adar is the Yahtzeit of Rav Eliezer Dovid Finkler of Radoshitz: Rabbi Ber of Radeshitz asked the Seer of Lublin to teach him the best way of serving God. The Lubliner replied, “The best way is the one to which your heart is drawn. Labor in it with your whole strength.” (Derech Tzaddikim, page 41)

 

iPray-IThank-Morning Blessings-Blessings of Torah Study: “Who gave us His Torah”: “Please give me the ability to find my place in Torah; the books that will draw me closer to God.”

iPray-iLove-Shema-Blessings of Morning Shema: “Instill understanding in our hearts…to fulfill all the words of Your Torah’s teaching with love.” Please help me find the place in Torah to which my heart is drawn so that I may serve You with love.

iPray-iAttach-Amidah: Da’at: “Grant us wisdom, insight, and knowledge.” Please grant me the Da’at, self-awareness to find the place in Torah to which my heart is drawn.

Teshuvah: “Bring us back, our Father, to Your Torah, and bring us near, our King, to Your service.” Help us find our place in Your Torah so that we may then serve you with a full heart.
