Purim 2: Purim Prayers

One should wake up early on Purim to pray extensively and offer unceasing supplications before the Holy One, Blessed is He, on all aspects of his life: his children, his health, his livelihood etc. For all the worlds are in a state of joy. We find that this is true in Halacha: One must give charity with full joy and trust to all who extend their hands on Purim. (Jerusalem Talmud, Megillah 1:4) If this is true in Halacha for us, it must also be true of God when we extend our hands to Him. (Segulot Yisrael)

We must pray and ask with the joy that our prayers and requests are empowered on Purim. (Machberes Avodas Hashem)
