Amidah: Praying To Become Botchim

The Abudirham teaches that when we recite the words, “Put our lot with them,” in the blessing for “The Righteous,” we are praying for God to help us become Botchim, people who trust God. The Gra (Avnei Eliyahu) teaches that one must pray to receive the gift of becoming a Boteiach when reciting this blessing.
