Nisan-Fighting the Fire of Anger V

The disciples of Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Rimanov entered into a covenant and signed a scroll in which they made the following vow: “This is a Covenant of Fellowship in a search for the truth and an everlasting striving after righteousness and humble bearing. We who signed it, commit with all our might to return to God, that a wall may separate us no more from His Holiness and His law.”

Whatever they decreed, they entered upon that scroll, as for example:

“Resolved to abstain from words of scolding and denunciation, which our Holy Rabbi has barred as transgressing the law against murder.” (Em laBinah, page 53)

iPray-iThank-Morning Blessings-Yehi Ratzon: May it be Your will, God, my Lord, and the Lord of my forefathers, that you rescue me today and every day from brazen men, and brazenness.

Haggadah: “The Egyptians portrayed us as evil,” as it is written, “Let us deal wisely with them lest they multiply, and if we happen to be at war, they may join our enemies and fight against us.”
