Midot Hayom: Day 38: Tiferet in Yesod

A man is obligated to attend to three Torah scholars, such as Rabbi Eliezer, Rabbi Yehoshua, and Rabbi Akiva, for it says, “Praiseworthy is the person who listens to Me, to hasten my doors –‘Dalsosai’ – every day, to the doorposts of My entranceways.” (Proverbs 8:34) Do not read “Dalsosai”t;/em> – My Doors – read instead, “Deles dalosai” – for you don’t know which learning is going to succeed, the one or the other, or if both are equally good. Avot of Rabbi Nathan 3:6

Hopefully we are directed in our learning and Service of God. We attempt to constantly approach closer to God. There are many ways to approach the Creator, and we must explore different legitimate paths in order to discover the proper approach for ourselves.
