Hallel: Ma’ariv Pesach: Consecration VII

We sing this paragraph as part of the Hallel that the Children of Israel sang as they were offering the original Korban Pesach. They understood that by offering an animal worshipped as a god by the Egyptians, they were standing up to the world’s greatest superpower. Their actions were sending a message to the entire world that they were empowered by God’s kindness and Truth. They called out to the entire world:

“All you nations; Praise God!

Sing compliments, all you peoples!

For His kindness overpowers us, and God’s Truth is forever.

Hallelukah!”
