Lights VII

“She discerns that he enterprise is good; her lamp is not snuffed out by night.” (Proverbs 31:18) (See Eishet Chayil: Tasting Torah)  Although she has risen to the heights of success, the light of Torah and the Candle of Mitzvah are not extinguished in her home. She does not become distracted by her business success and retains her focus on the spiritual development of her home. (Yalkut Mei’am Loez)

Spend a few moments each day evaluating the spiritual life of your home. This will nurture the Light of Torah and the Candle of Mitzvah, and empower the Chanukah candles to increase their spiritual influence in the home.
