Hoda’ah: Tzeida Laderech

“God’s kindness surely has not ended, nor are His mercies exhausted.” (Lamentations 3:22) Rashi comments, “Your kindnesses are renewed from day to day.

There

is no way to calculate all of God’s kindnesses to us. We have no idea how often He stops evil from beginning, people from striking at us, or bad things from happening.

God’s kindnesses are renewed each day, just as, “Who renews His creation all the day, constantly.” Can we imagine all the details of creation that help us?

Our awareness of God’s constant and eternal kindnesses, expressed in Modim, is our most opportune moment to connect to His Awesome Power, Knowledge, and Eternality.
