Hearing: Expectation

“See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being, I make them heard to you (Isaiah 42:9).” This verse describes the Shofar as an announcement of what will be. It is reminding us to listen carefully with a sense of expectation so that God will make His message of the future heard by us.
