Notice that in this paragraph, we say that originally, the Jews were idolaters, and now G-d has brought us close to His service.

This paragraph can also pertain to Diaspora Jews in exile. By saying “Kairvanu…La’avodato”-“He has brought us close to His service”, we can be referring to this month of Nissan, which is the month in which the redemption will come. Now that Nissan has come around again, G-d has brought us close to His service, because maybe this year is the year.
