True Freedom

If you want to have a relationship with God, then you must make choices. The only thing that frees you and frees me (and we’ll see later, the greatest freedom) is that we have a relationship with God. Otherwise we are stuck in this world, and the moment you die, you’re dead. You live, you make money, you eat, and you sleep. OK, we’ll put on your tombstone – ‘He lived, he made money, and he ate, and he slept.’ That’s it. Your life is over. That’s not freedom. So you are functional for a while. So we’ll give you a large federal prison, minimal security, where all the ex-senators go, instead of a small one. You’ll have a little more freedom. But you’re still in prison!
