Festival Prayers-Succot Kavanot-Psalm 135

“Whatever God wished, He did, in heaven and on earth; in the seas and all the depths. He raises clouds from the end of the earth (Psalms 135 6–7).” If a person desires to become a Chariot for the Divine Presence, that God will rest His Name on him, “Do in heaven and earth,” connect the Heavenly to all that exists on this world (B’eir Mayim Chaim; Miketz).

The sukkah is our attempt to create a Heavenly space on this world. It is the means by which we can become a Chariot for the Divine Presence, and God will rest His Name on us. God will then, “raise clouds from the end of the earth,” the original cloud that was used to form Adam, and we will be in that state of pure existence before Adam sinned.
