Father & Child: Faithfulness

“The living, the living—they praise You, as I am doing today; parents tell their children about Your faithfulness (Isaiah 38:19).” Parents embody faithfulness and reliability to their children. They are the perfect people to speak of God’s faithfulness.

We can create the reality of parent as the teacher of God’s faithfulness during Elul, so that when we reach Rosh Hashanah and pray as, “im kivanim,” God’s children, He will convey the message of His faithfulness to us as a parent to a child.
