Purim-Drunk With Love

Our sages teach us that the “One must get drunk on Purim until he does not know the difference between ‘ Blessed is Mordechai,’ and ‘Cursed is Haman (Megillah 7b).’ A person must become drunk with the love generated on Purim. He can then elevate everything to God, even the physical. For everything is from God. This should reach a level, “until he does not know.” Everything should be equal in his eyes. He should serve God even with the worldly, the concept of, “Cursed is Haman.” (Imrei Tzaddikim 86)
