Counting The Omer: Value Each Day

If one did not do Teshuva immediately at the beginning of the Counting of the Omer, he should not say that he has lost the opportunity. “Until the morrow of the seventh Shabbat,” (Leviticus 23:16)

teaches us that as long as one day of the Omer remains he can illuminate all 50 days on that one day. (Avodat Yisreal – Second Day Pesach; “U’sfartem.”)
