Countdown to Pesach 10-Likkutei MoHaRaN
There are three things for which man has destructive appetites. They are money, sex and food. Through the three Festivals, these three appetites can be rectified. Pesach is the rectification of money. It is thus written in (in this week’s portion of Hachodesh), “God gave the people favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they let them have what they asked (Exodus 12:36).” The Egyptians gave the Children of Israel gold and silver against their will, since they did not want it at all. This is therefore a rectification for the appetite of money. (Likkutei MoHaran 1:15)
iPray-iAttach-Amidah-Sustenance: Please help me repair any destructice aspect of my desire for money.
Haggadah: “And afterward they will leave with great wealth.”
