Taking it With you-Chidah-From Prayer to Work

The 11th of Adar is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Chaim Yosef Dovid (Raphael Yitzchok Zerachia) Azulai, (the Chida): Before you go to work, have a time of preparation to make yourself ready to be careful about all forbidden things and ready to fulfill God’s warning, and not transgress, God forbid, such things as theft and robbery, fraud, lying, cheating, false weights and measures.

After eating your midday meal, and before you go back to work, prepare yourself again as you did in the morning, going over in your mind the various things to avoid. And happy are you if you fulfill all this. (Chidah, Avodat haKodesh)
