Bo: Tiferet Ish: Separating From Evil:Mitzvah 7 – Concept 109

“On the previous day you shall nullify the leaven from your homes.” (Exodus 12:15) We are commanded to destroy all chametz on the 14th day of Nisan. (Rambam, Hilchot Chametz U’Matzah)
