“Nor may leaven be seen in your possession in all your borders.” (Exodus 13:7) We may not even see Chametz in our domain on Pesach. (Rambam, Hilchot Chametz U’Matzah)

One who eats Matzah properly and with the correct awareness all the days of Pesach, is considered a “Partner” in God’s Creation – the Seven Days of Pesach correspond to the days of Creation. (Rokeach 291)

Nothing was out of place in the creation. Everything was there for a purpose and with intention. We cannot be distracted when we want to eat the Matzah in order to achieve the level of partner.
