Pesukei D’Zimrah: Blessing From Before You

“Wealth and honor come from before You.” (Chronicles I 29) All wealth and honor that appear in this world drips from heaven to the specific place determined by the Highest Wisdom. The prayerful requests depend on this awareness and understanding. We request that the wealth and honor that are before God in heaven be directed towards the same place as the prayer.

Even the wealth that already exists in this world depends on constant renewal from heaven. Therefore, when we pray that God’s abundance continue to bless what we already possess.

Our prayers connect us to that place “before You” from which all blessing derives.
