Bechukotai: Rav Yitzchak son of the Zlotchover: A Gift In the Darkness

The 11th of Iyar is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Yitzchak of Radwill, son of Rav Yechiel Michel, the Zlotchover Maggid (1832): “I will turn my attention against you, you will be struck down before enemies; those who hate you will subjugate you; you will flee with no one pursuing you (Vayikra 26:17).”

“I will turn my attention against you,” has a beneficial side as well; It can be read, “I will place My Vision within you,” to help you use Higher Vision, your inner being, to understand all that is happening to you, and why. When you turn to God as His attention is “against you,” with the desire to receive “His Face within you,” you will receive this gift and be granted clarity and peace.
