Spiritual Tools-Slonim-Skipping Two Laws Print E-mail

Service-of-God-Machberes-Avodas-Hashem-Spiritual-ToolsThe 28th of Adar is the Yahrtzeit of Rav Mordechai Kastelanitz of Lecovitz, the father of the Slonim Chassidic dynasty, immigrated to Chevron in 1844. “How long shall you balance between two branches (I Kings 18:21).” Read this, " How long shall you skip over two paragraphs - s'ifim." There are two paragraphs in the Code which constitute the essence of religion. Chapter One of Orach Chaim, paragraph 7, reads, “I shall set God always before me (Psalms 16:8),” and Chapter 231, paragraph 2, reads, “In all your ways, know God (Proverbs 3:6).” [Ohr Yesharim, page 39)

iPray-Prayer Skills: Be constantly aware of, “I shall set God always before me (Psalms 16:8),”

iPray-iAttach-Amidah-Da’at: “In all your ways, know God (Proverbs 3:6).” Grant me the Da’at of being aware of you in everything I do.
